God Unlimited Outdoor therapy has been successful in its application for funding from The Blagrave Trust.
Gul had been visited by the trust who, having been impressed by the work the charity does across several fields decided to grant funds of £10,000 towards its ongoing development. The trustees at the charity wish to express their thanks to the team at Blagrave for their support and will use the funds to further improve the support offered to young people in Wiltshire.
As part of a bid to raise the profile of the charity Gul, in partnership with The Blagrave Trust and The Big Give will be using the funds as part of the Big Give Christmas Challenge, a match funding campaign aimed at doubling the value of the the grant. Following a successful bid, our fundraiser James, attended Amesbury area board meeting to pitch the case for £5000 of funding to help us extend our opening hours in winter time. Gul was successful in its application!
Gul will now receive £5000 to use towards installing Photovoltaic (Solar) Cells at our Riverside site, these cells will charge batteries and be used to run lighting meaning a safer yard that is open longer. Gul also plans to use the money to improve access to our sites woodland and to re surface our driveway.
